so my tamagotchi grew into an adult today and i hate it. when it was a teenager it looked like a cat, but now it looks like a whale with a pumpkin mouth. its so gross and not cute at all and i want to kill it. i think maybe that would be a good thing because i realise it's not cool to have one when your turning 18 on your next birthday.

i'm working 8 day weeks with only one day off inbetween and i'm not sure i'll be able to handle it. i've never worked more than like 3 days in a row, so this could test my skills at staying sane.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

i saw a frog at work today and i dumped water on it. anyways it reminded me of my frog that died named phoebe. before school one day i looked into the tank and she was lying on the bottom with her hand in her mouth. i'm not sure if it was suicide or one of the other frogs did it, but it was sad

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

caitlin went to her favorite hairdresser yesterday and dyed her hair. i'm really sad that he's married and like 30, otherwise i would marry him.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

So next year, i think im going to move to scotland after i grad and get a job. then leave in january with caleigh for our trip around the world. pounds will go farther than dollars and it sort of makes sense... so that is my plan right now. we also found out we wont have to spend Christmas alone, andrea's going to be in italy so we're going to go to italy for christmas. i know this is really far in the future but we're planning ahead haha

this = me in the morning ah
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

This blog started off as a joke, and well it still is and i don't know why the people who read it, read it... but thanks for reading and commenting cause it's fun. i guess this blog just gives me something to do, and something to remind me of what i did with my life (which isn't much)

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

the markets are getting so busy, and their starting to lose their appeal but i still love them

caleigh met ron jeremy and gave him money. im jealous and would have pulled down his pants.

one night when i was in grade 5 or something i woke up in the middle of the night and had to pee, so i got up and walked over to the door, but i couldn't find the door handle or the light switch and i searched my room for the door/light for like half an hour then i started crying cause i had to pee so bad and i was completely lost in my room. it was scary and i had to pee so bad i just peed on the floor by my bed. that story makes me sad because who does that? anyway

we got our car tonight. i think i like it better than the other one. i can get my license soon and im stoked.
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

what a good license plate eh? haha

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

fuck around. the dvds i bought in scotland don't work in my dvd player. i'm going to hurt someone i think. It just says 'wrong region'. does anyone know anyway i can get them to?

my dad is so random and when we were gone he bought another volkswagon rabbit. but a black one, which is in better shape and newer... i think we're going to sell the red one now, because who wants two of the same car?

After a 5 hour plane, a three hour train, a half hour bus, a 7 hour wait at the airport, a 9 hour flight, a 45 minute bus, and a 2 hour ferry i am home and i am alive. which is a good thing. i havent slept in 3 days but it's only noon here right now, and seems to weird too go to bed now.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

attempting to sleep in an airport is almost impossible i think. even though at that time of night/morning it was very quiet. the seats smelled like crap, they were uneven, and every 10 minutes a loud obnoxious lady would give the same emergency warning over the speaker erasing any hope of catching any sleep at all. "weeeeoooowweeeaaaaoooo, this is an emergency warning please dont leave any bags unattended blaaahblahh" i wanted to tell her to kill herself because she was a sad lady sitting in a dark room talking like a robot with no friends. anyway

Cyprus was definitely fun. it was incredibly hot, and i was sweating from every pore most hours of the day. we spent most of the time on the beach or other places..

warning: caitlin is not wearing makeup in these pictures. may be painful on the eyes.

We had a little family at the beach we went to. and i loved them even though we never talked. it consisted of an indian family, another family, another family and a man. the man was by himself every day and sat there from morning till night. i didn't know whether to feel sorry for him or not... he had an army hat on and glasses and looked completely dorky, but when he went swimming he took off his glasses etc and he was really hot, so i dont know about him but he was part of our beach family so he was cool.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

One day we rented a car and got lost in the mountains, then ended up near the turkey part... and i don't know what's going on up there but something very weird i think. maybe they are in a war and i didn't know but we drove by like 100 army stations with angry men glaring at us with guns and camoflauge and UN trucks driving around everywhere. there was signs everwhere saying no pictures, so maybe its a top secret war or something... who knows.

a minky cat came into our room and i took a picture. its fur was greasy and it was pregnant.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

We went to the Baths of Aphrodite which is a pond/bath thing that she appearently used to come and bathe... legend is if you wash your face there, you look ten years younger. i did, but i don't think i look 7 so i think they're lying to us innocent tourists.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

the planes were ok, because they showed movies, (fever pitch, hitch and in good company) i thought they were all good. its so hard to get comfortable on a plane and my tailbone is still numb. the lady in front of me had her chair pushed all the way back so she was pretty much on top of me. she kept moving and stuff and you'd think she could sit stilll being a middle aged women etc, but i guess that was too much to ask.

I brought some absinthe back and some more alcohol, which i think is illegal here and is kind of sad because that's all i bought there.

i bought two more cds which are amazingly good. Kasabian and Mylo. deffinitely recomend Kasabian for everyone. Mylo is rad but not for everyone id say

Anyways it was a good trip for sure but im happy to be home. i've never been homesick before but i was this trip, which was weird i think. tomorrow's going to rock because im getting my hair done by my favorite man in sidney, then going to the market.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

i made my first hamburgers yesterday and i am very proud. the only thing i can cook is easy mac and crutons. but i can now add hamburgers to the list. i need to get prepared for when i get married and my husband divorces me because i'm a shitey cook.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

I'm drinking tea and just got back from a bbq... which if i had the choice i wouldnt have gone to, seeing as everyone was over 50 and german and stuff.. but there was good food which made it bearable

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

I've been spending hours on these number problems, called sudokos or sodukus.. i dunno but theyre really addictive and hard and stuff.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Anyways, on the 19th i'm leaving to Paphos, Cyprus with the mother for a week! for those who dont know where that is (like me) its an island off of turkey, which i believe is half owned by greece. im so excited to get super tanned and relax on a beach, but i wont be able to blog which is sad, but im sure i'll get over it. so i guess this is farewell untill the 28th! everyone have a great 12 days!

Best city i've been to so far. i loved it. It's really old and really big and really busy and really nice.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

It's also the most haunted city in Britain so we went on a tour underground where ghosts are and stuff. I was really scared because gohst scare me and the guide kept pointing out where the ghosts lived in each room and i was always standing right beside them.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

This was the most haunted room and appearently psychic go crazy in there and run out. appearently i'm not a psychic cause i didnt see anything or run out so i guess that's a good sign.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

We went to the best shop ever called Cult. it was amazing and i can't believe there's not one in canada. how depressing. It was really expensive but i bought a few things anyways. I also bought a new cd! waye! The Futureheads. it is goood. there are so many cds i want right now... i think im going to ask for more time at work when i go home.

everyone over here seems to have a better sense of style i've noticed, especially the guys. I think our canadian boys should all go over to britain and pick up some stlye tips. and wear more pink. and do their hair nicer. most of the guys over here have really weird hair... mostly mullets of some fashion or longish at the back and front... i havent decided if i like it or not yet.

I hated that nessy, and he hated me. he punched me really hard and hit my head and i wanted to show him what i could do but there was children watching. so i ran away and he started attacking a girl in a wheelchair.

Harry Potter is coming out in two days! wooo

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

The Open starts tomorrow and i'm excited. We went there today for practice rounds which turned out to be really good because we saw most of the players and you could get really close, take pictures, get autographs etc...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

I could drop a bunch of names but im pretty confident none of you would give a shit.
Tiger Woods was exciting though. I stalked him through my binoculars and pretended to be his wife and talked to him and kissed him and stuff.

I can't believe the weather over here. insane hotness and im sooo burnt.

Hopefully this man put on his sunscreen. mmmmm

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Because im cool, i bought a tamagotchi. holy blast from the past batman. i feel like im in grade 4 but i dont care. we can't get them in canada anymore.

I'm homesick and even though i'm having a really good time over here, I miss everyone back home, and sidney, and the markets, and my friends, and my cats, and the beavers, and my bed, and my guitar/bass and only a few weeks left!

I promise that when i get back i wont do horrible posts like i've been doing. i just can't be bothered to do anything these days...

wow long time no post it seems. I have either not had access to a computer or been too lazy and havent really been inclined to jump on here and start typing... but anyways i'm back down in newport after spending a few days at my aunt's cottage. It's off in the middle of no where but i love it because it was so relaxing and incredibly sunny. So i've been spending my days tanning and hiking etc etc.
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

I love hiking and especially over here there are some amazing views. even the view from her cottage all around is so nice. I've been to Scotland like 4 times but never really old enough to appreciate the scenerey or the architecture or whatever...

Her cottage is right beside where Macbeth was beheaded! v. exciting! not really.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

They have a lot of sweet bands over here that i don't think we have in Canada so i'm going to pick up a few cd's sometime soon hopefully...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

anyways been pretty busy with things and tomorrow i'm heading to the Open pre/am which i'm completely stoked about because it's when the celebrity's play! I'm not sure who's playing but i know Samuel L Jackson is and Hugh Grant. Hugh Grant is amazing!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

It is so friggin hot over here.. its so weird. normally Scotland has pretty shitty weather... but appearently we're in a heat stroke or something. i'ts bloody boiling and im getting burnt. oh well at least i may come home with a tan of some sort...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Well I've had enough of this horrible blog and i probably wont post one for a while... unless i get some celeb pictures i'll defo put a few up.

Vistied a few small fishing villages in Fife today... Pittenweem, Aberdour, and Culross. They were super cute and really old. The weather was so nice which made for good times and a lot of walking. that's for sure.

Went in to Dundee today, which im assuming you dont know where that is but whatever. its like victoria only a lot older and more dirty. but i liked it.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Met some of my cousins friends who were rad. We went to this second hand music/dvd store and me being obsessed with cheap dvds was in heaven. my cousin had to drag me out before i bought out the store... but i ended up buying, Sliding Doors, which is one of my favorite movies. watch it cause its so good. and the 3rd season of Ally Mcbeal on dvd! :o holy so stoked for that! Any of you used to watch Ally Mcbeal? cause its friggin amazing. it used to be my favorite show until it went of air and i cried for weeks. it made me want to be a lawyer cause they all slept with eachother and hallucinated and danced in the bathrooms. but then my mom told me lawyers never did that.

To get to my room at the top of the house i have to go up 100000 stairs and by the time i get ther i have a huge headache and i'm totally out of breath. it makes me feel like a fat slob that never excercises.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

We went to the best restaurant in the world today. Jimmy Chung's. it was pretty amazing. chinese food all you can eat. such goooood fooood. now i feel sick cause i ate so much, and my heart feels like its covered in layers of food and it's hard to breath. but it was worth it.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

okie so i am here. and im alive and stuff. this is awkward because my cousin is watching me type and i don't like it....

anyways. the ferry people lost my luggage. fuck around! our plane was leaving in like half an hour and it was still at the ferrys.. so they got a cab to bring it back and i was scared because then i'd be screwed. anyways we got on our little plane for 8 and a half hours. it was pretty gooood, they played three movies, miss congeniality 2 which was shit, some movie with ashton kutcher which was shit, and million dollar baby which i didn't watch. the plane was really empty so i just stretched out on three seats and tried to sleep.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Got there, drove to Newport, and past a really long double fence thing with lots of police guarding it for the G8 protests.

Now i'm in newport at my cousin's house. we went in to St Andrews today where the open's going to be on the 14th. hopefully i'll be able to go back for tthat because id be guaranteed to see famous people. unfortunatly prince william graduated uni so i wont be seeing him:(

I sleep in that top little window incase you want to picture me at night...
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

This is the view from my window...
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

So we might be heading out to greece or somwhere like that for a week which would be rad, depends on timing and stuff... we'll see.

Theres a huge concert goin on that i don;t think i can get tickets too, but it would be sweet, its two days and it has bands like, Foo Fighters, Keane, The Killers, Green Day, Snoop Dog, Bloc Party, The bravery, Bright Eyes and like 100 more, most i dont recognize.. but anyways it looks amazing.

All the cars over here are different it's insane. they're all so cool looking. ours suck.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

This is my cousins rad car. it starts with a credit card and has a handbrake like an airplane!
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Anyways this is boring for you so i'll go and do something.

I've been watching Live 8 for most of the time i've been home, which hasn't been a lot at all. But it's amazing. I can't even imagine being in one of those crowds it would be so overwhelming seeing some of the most talented artists ever playing on one stage.

Let's just hope this sent a powerful message to the G8 to end world poverty.

There are a lot more pics than usual and i know most of you are tired of my stupid pictures that look all the same but i dont care because i'm going to put them on here and you can look at them if you would like to.

Wow what an eventful few days it has been. Head on downtown with Caleigh and Leslie yesterday to check into our hotel. it was nice and we were obviosly super stoked. We went shopping and bought supplies for the night, shirts, jiffy markers etc etc. Went to the Cactus club for dinner which is officially my new favorite restaurant. our waitress was so cute and wrote us a little note on our bill. All of the bartenders were so hot and I'm excited to work at a place like that when I get my bartender's license.
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

We met up with Jess and rolled back to our hotel where we got ready and stuuuufff. It was almost the best part.
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Went on down to join the festivities and meet up with people etc. Because we're really cool and ghetto and stuff we got drunk in an alley. yes an alley. behind a really classy restaurant. it was the funniest thing ever and i couldnt stop laughing.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Anyways, after that we went to the inner harbour where most of vitoria probably was. insane amounts of people. insane amounts of drinking. insane amounts of people signing our shirts and insane fun times.

My brothers friend wrote on my hoodie with permanent marker. Sweeeeet. thats not coming out

We went to the cutest place for breakfast, i dont even remember what it's called but it was amazing. so pretty there and they had awsome food.
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

After breakfast I stayed downtown to buy some things before i leave (which is tomorrow). Picked up some new headphones, memory card for camera, limblifter cd, lots of clothes which were all surprisingly cheap. I even tried driving standard which went over pretty good i think, only stalled a few times...

Well i'm leaving tomorrow morning at 9ish. catching the ferry over to vancouver and a plane to scotland from there. i'm pretty stoked and still need to pack. I'm assuming i'll have access to a computer at my cousins house, so you may just see a post now and again. I'm going to have major blog withdrawl or something if I don't. comment and stuff and pretend you actually care i'm leaving :)
