Had a pretty random day. it involved a lot of sitting and eating, and spending money. we actually won our soccer game this morning, for once i think our team took it easy on the drinks last night. My grandpa showed up and i got really happy because he is the best. i told him i was going grad dress shopping...
grandpa:are you going to get one of those bikini ones?
me: ummm probably not...
grandpa: oh, ok good.
(pretty sure they dont make those gramps, but ok...)
I was planning on going to see ' fun with dick and jane' but we got lazy and just sat at starbucks for an hour. then made our way over to marias souvlaki and stayed there for another hour. made the trek to thriftys where we bought bulk candy + sushi and sat there for an hour or two. really productive day....

We had a meeting tonight for our mexico trip at caleigh's house, where we talked to the travel agent and asked questions etc... he gave us our plane tickets, itinerary, and lots of random stuff. 12 days. so intense. Me and Carly decided we're not going to leave the hotel because we're scared and we're going to help senior citizens etc. it was andrews birthday so we had cake and it was cute and i ate a lot of food. a lot. of food

the ballin life's tough...
actually i'm broke... but i get paid two days early this month! thank god for screwed up february!
soooo saturday night i chilled with the fam for a bit, i thought i owe them at least that. i'm not very nice to them. when i'm home i either hide out in here or in my room, avoiding all contact. planning my escape routes. My mom said she would order chinese if i stayed home. (how sad, my parents have to bribe me to spend a little quality time...) anyways i'm like heck yes i will. chinese is pretty amazing. Then we watched Elizabethtown, which was good. i liked it. the story kind of reminded me of garden state... in the way that he's all depressed, goes back for his dad's funeral, meets a girl who's weird that changes his life etc... but yes, it was good. recomended. it dragged a bit at the end, but i think that's because i was getting anxious to get
out of the house.
Went to
Peter's show on friday, and I didn't get lost getting there! it was quite the accomplishement. i am officially the worst at directions, but there was a handy little map on the flyer that i used to help me. i only had to go on 2 roads! anyways... they played awsome!
The olympics are over. this means new episodes of the Office! The Amazing Race! The Apprentice! and Survivor! but that's old news. my eyes are going to hurt from tv. might have to cut back.
Had a little bonding sesh with my co-worker as we were shoveling dirt for hours on end in the freezing cold. She told me her 8 yr old daughter knows the whole napolean dynamite dance off by heart and dances to it in the living room. i decided my kids will be cool like that, and will only talk like him/trekies. + they will wear moon boots.

HI
ok so first things first. SURVIVOR! That's right bitches who watched it?
we did, and it was pretty amazing as usual. I think my goal in life is to go on survivor. I know I'm Canadian but those American assholes will let me on with a little leverage... anyways I was pretty close to tears when little samurai was on exile island in the torrential rains, huddled under a hat or something. saddest thing ever. he should have done some karate to keep warm.
Unfortunately the office wasn't new. god.
anyways, no school today so i'm sittin around waiting to go to work, where i may die of cold. i'm hoping i wont tho. think long johns.
I decided to get out of the house pretty late last night, cause why not and also i was just drawing on paint and i realised how sad + lame i am. i have a pretty funny video from it too but i don't know how to load it or whatever, but it went something like this.
"Just fuck her"
"I can't"
"Do it, just fuck her, she's soo horny"
"how!?"
haha ok you'd have to see it. blahblah then the funniest thing ever happened. these two kids like my brothers age (15), locked themselves in my friends dad's bedroom and we were trying to get em out. cause that's gross. anyways we pick the lock and go in and they were effing. haha we were video taping and yea it was the best moment. they got pretty mad.
alrighty well it looks like it's work time for me.

Just got back from a super sweet weekend/sunday-monday. It was deffinitely good times. better than good.
amazing. very eventful, and we kept things interesting. just a warning i took a billion pictures, and no i'm not putting them all up here but there is a lot.
Caught the 9oclock ferry over and i was super stoked. ate some hashbrowns and a muffin... it's hard to remember back to yesterday morning. i'm feeling sick and sleep deprived... but anyways ferry ride over was good, watched people, took pictures of guys sleeping,
Leck made a vancity cd which was dooopee
drove around most of van, looking for hotels and gas stations and banks etc. where the hell are all the gas stations?! i don't think they have more than 2 in the whole city! gawd. Started counting the number of crack whores, lost count after about 13.
Decided on a place in English Bay, which was kind of at the other end of van than GM place but it was a nicer area i think. This was our view. cute

I wanted to go swimming in this pool, but leck said no :( sad.
Hmm then what? oh yea, being the alcoholics we are, we walked for miles and miles to find a cold beer and wine store. found it then had the long walk back to our hotel. Picked up some chase at macks, and Leck tried to speak punjabi to this guy at the counter. at first we thought he understood cause he like nodded. then he paused and he's like "what did u say to me?!"

Yard Sale

ballin'

We had half an hour before meeting up with
Smelly, so we're like ok lets get this done fast. bad idea, caitlin got hammered. we didnt have any shot glasses and i'm not down for shots out of mugs so we just mixed some drinks.

luckily Milestones where we were meeting was just at the end of the street, so there wan't much walking involved. thank god

I should turn this post into a "Smelly, sorry for being a spaz post." gawd i could barely order. anyways she rocks and distracted us with her camera while she payed our bill!! what!!? we're like " where's the bill at?" "it's taken care of" gossshhh, too kind. We'll be buying dinner for Smelly when she comes over to the island for sure.

we took her back to our hotel room, to kidnap her and take pictures to put on our blogs... actually no we just drank more and took pictures and
video and the usual.

we are cool

crazy kids...

Danielle gave us a ride to GM place, which was amazing cause we dont know how to get anywhere. THANKS AGAIN!

The game was totally intense! I dont know who watched it but it was sweeet.

Our seats were way at the top cause i suck at buying tickets, but they were fine, we drank even more, and watched the intense game. It went into overtime and i deffinitely thought the canucks were screwed. Minnesota had a power play and yea it wasn't looking good, but then we scored! fuck yeeaaaaaa it was awsomeeee.

Our plan was to take a bus back to the hotel... well actually we didn't have a plan and we ended up walking all the way back :| it was raining too but i didnt really notice. pretty much walked from one end of van to the other i dont know how we made it without getting lost but we did.

Leck was crack walking so i did too. the plan was to be more sketch than any of the other people on the street so they would be scared of us ps.

didn't drink anymore, which was probably a good thing. we left the rest for the cleaning lady. you're welcome. Didn't really sleep cause the crack whores decided to have a party outside the building. i think they were playing a game, called "the crack whore who screams the loudest gets free crack" so they were all pretty excited about that. then it got really windy and loud and i don't know..

Woke up still drunk blahblah got on the ferry, ate some whitespot, which deffinitely was a bad idea. captain mo's was disagreeing with my stomach already and the legendary burger didn't help. not to mention it was the Perfect Storm! minus the torrential rain, dark menacing clouds and 100 foot waves. so it was just reallly wavy. puke. ANYWAYS we frickin made it home without getting eaten by the ocean. it's really nice out now. caitlin is going to sleep untill tomorrow now.

i am eating soy sauce soaked rice and it is amazing. i'm also eating stir fry but i decided to seperate it from the rice this time. i lead a very exciting life. i am also having a race with myself to see how many glasses of water i can drink tonight. so far, one. but that's only because i just started. it helps to drink water through a cool straw, my current straw is from ikea and it is clear with a black stripe. very chic.
glass number two.
I am officially done math for LIFE. for life! this is the most relaxed i've been in some time. i dont even care if i failed or not anymore. its done. one left tomorrow and i'm good to go. to go!

Yesterday i planned my whole day out on my phone, down to the half hour pretty much. I'm weird like that. Some things need to be incredibly organized in a freak way, while others are fine to be left unorganized (my room). Anyways it's kind of sad sometimes, if i start taking notes in class with a certain color of pen, it has to be the same all year. On the first day of Biology i only had a red pen, so the whole year has been red notes. In history last year, only one color of highlighter was allowed. A different shade of yellow was frowned upon and it only happened twice. that page of darker yellow still haunts me...

glass number three.
Ok back to the phone plan. I planned out my whole day, starting at waking up, moving on to picking up paycheck, going to the bank etc... anyways i got to my work exactly on the minute and feeling pretty proud of myself and my planning skills. Picked up paychck, decide to whip out the phone and let her know the dates i wont be there (mexico) but it wasnt in my pocket where it was supposed to be. "uuum lemme go check the truck" cant find it anywhere. go back home to search, meanwhile, schedual is being thrown off, (from my anal highlighter story you can guess i was not happy about this...) anyways im going to cut this way short because it's dragging on and it's a horrible story. i end up finding it in the middle of the lawn, soaking wet and muddy. i think it fell out because i was hopping around like a sketch trying to keep my feet as dry as possible (taking a picture). blaaaaaaaaaaah

Leslie Meghan and i chilled it before our math exam. Went to subway for lunch, Leck that same troll girl was working and there was a lineup out the door because she doesn't know what the hell she's doing. it was a horrible subway experience.

Went tanning for the first time in a while. i needed to relax after my stressful morning. drove home, got a coffee call from caleigh, drove back to sidney, decided not to get coffee and went to the sidney bakery instead. i know i have no self control. We sat on the peir for a while. it was nice, i hadn't been there in a while. plus it was sunny so it was kind of like summer, except a lot colder.

Stopped at the bottom of my road to take some pictures at the beach. but it got windy/cold really fast so i peaced outta there and came home to do the last studying for a loooong time. watched some Matt Good videos, began my water marathon which brings me back to here. glass four. + blog post.

The Grammy's are on. Madonna's singing currently. she's in some sort of leotard an ice skater/gymnast would wear. but it doesnt matter because she is cool
Tomorrow on will be good times. survivor, the office, snowboarding, work, ferry, vancouver, blogger meet up, drinking, hockey, hotel, ferry, sleep.
glass number five.

Ok so
Danielle and
Leck made posters and i don't really have any skills in poster making so i stuck some heads on a picture in front of Vancouver. i think it will do...

ok apparently it's tiny. i give up. but you get the point... and if you don't.... go read
their blogs.

PS that is a pic of me and Leck i drew. i think you can see the resemblance (the blackberry) ALSO i think i should start teaching art lessons. the talent here is undeniable.

Caitlin's lack of updates is a result of a 2 week constant headache, provincial exam week and other events that have left no time for this wonderful blog. anyways me and my blog are going to have a quickie today to make up for lost time. was it good for you? Last night was almost a sleepless one. my brain was combining thoughts about math, biology, english and vancouver trip which i am probably too excited for. that happens though when you're on an island for months at a time. When was the last time i was off the island? probably in august for the Jack Johnson Concert. WAIT whenever broken social scene was... thats when. i guess it hasnt been that long. anyways

Today we had lunch with our bio class. I studied helllaa and ate tons of pizza (pepperoni, greek, AND bbq chicken) + brownies + pop + nerds. remember nerds? i do. we got mad at this kid who came in and ate FOUR peices of pizza and he wasn't even in our class. what a little shit.
Anyways, one provincial down, two to go. English went better than expected. the prompt was actually easy this time "Dreams take us on a journey." The mock prompt was horrible "Keeping an open mind allows for growth." whatever done english for life. that's a happy thought. no more about provincials though or i'll have an anxiety attack. for real.

My last two weekends have been very chillin. no drinking for at least 2 or three weeks. i feel healthier. actually my bad eating habits are bringing me down. A few of my friends got drunk at school the other day and i didn't. weird i guess. but since i've already been suspended i thought better of it. i'm a good kid now... haha
I'm still beyond sore from soccer on Sunday. No exercise for months + running hard for an hour and half = a lot of pain. I'm looking forward to soccer tonight for once, i'm going to work of some of this stress and hopefully some of this pain. sundays game was pretty poor tho, we went from undefeated 8 games, to losing this one 7-0 :| our team's pooched pretty much.
Coach "do you think if i told the team the mvp will get a bottle of vodka, there would be some insentive?"
Caitlin: "it would help"
knowing our team, it would.

The weather today is amazing and it's making me very happy.
math time
