We were pirates. we went to a rave, and drank captain morgans... because he was a pirate...

leck had some sick scars and i put makeup on him and i thought he made a very good pirate. i just looked like a tool.

my parents were going to a halloween dinner party that night and they had to dress up as something that scared them. and guess what they were.... "gangstas". it rocked.

So anyways, time for a nap because i started calls today and i'm worn out. as lame as that sounds. i don't think i screwed anyone up too bad, at least not that i know. i also didnt get screamed at but i think i just got lucky.

Me and leck are going to be pirates and go to a halloween rave. we went to a thrift store and also sifted through my 'dress up box'. i found a cool wig and nose and stuff. that was my hat from my "where's waldo" costume. ps that isnt my pirate costume.....

oh btw i have to take my first live call tomorrow at work and i am freaking out. i'm probably more scared than i have been in my whole life. no joke. i dont think i will be able to sleep tonight. monday will be the worst becaue i actually start the calls full time so we'll see how that goes.

Last night me and leck went to the salmon kings opener. it was really sad because they lost but also fun. if they won we would have got $10 to the spaghetti factory. UHGH. i had cramps x100 and got grumpy. we ate macdonalds.

Yesterday was pretty awsome. it included a trip to the imax and an electric chair. I met KP and Kluge dt and we looked through records for over an hour. kevin is an obsessive disk jokey. it was a pretty sweet store i didnt know existed and it had sweet clothes (that were too expensive) and a hair salon and records etc. We decided to see an imax... The Mystery of The Nile. It was so intense. i love the imax. Kevin wanted to go to Trounce alley, to the Nightmares thing.. I don't really get it but we chose one called the Hot seat. I was pretty scared and i screamed a lot but it wasnt actually that scary. Jason got electrocuted (um does anyone else think that word looks weird?) in an electric chair and we watched/got attacked by things.

We met up again in Sidney, making some stops such as Smittys, the liqueur store, daves house, kevins house and finally kluges house. the end. my grandpa is here now so that means i have to go and bond/ not hide in here and write about my day. seeya

JUST TO LET YOU KNOW I AM THE HAPPIEST PERSON ON EARTH.

warning: long boring post about something in my life that makes me happy. Because my life isn't generally exciting i will draw this out to make it sound even better.

reason:

my favorite childhood -> pre-teen show was Ally Mcbeal. It was amazing and i was obsessed and i loved/love it so much. for multiple reasons. mainly because the characters were awsome and they all slept together and hallucinated and danced in the uni-sex bathroom. i loved the dancing. oh and the dancing baby. I wanted to become a lawyer because it looked like the best job ever but then my mom told me it wasn't actually like that and i changed my mind. OK so in Scotland last year i was in a used music shop and i bought season 3 on dvd. i asked the lady if it would work in Canada and she said yes. I was so excited because i hadnt seen Ally in forever and also i dont even think u can buy it over here... When I got home it didnt work and you needed a region free dvd player (which i did not have). I put them on a top shelf so i didn't have to be reminded of what could have been, and continued on with my life. Last week, leck saw an add for a region free dvd player for $47.00!!! so i went down and bought it. tried the dvd's. and it didnt work. GOD! Yesterday i got a call from my dad at work and appearently i had to leave the disc thing open, put in a 4 digit code and change the region. um thanks for telling me that when i bought it and thanks for giving me the code! god. so... after a year of waiting they can finally play and my life is now complete. now i just need all the other seasons! i made a fire yesterday and ate lots of food and watched it and it was the best day ever.

I almost cried at work today also. We were having lunch and i was telling a story. and appearently i say "like" a lot. but so does everyone "like" when you're telling a story etc, it just comes out. The old guy is really stubborn with his old ways and thinks anything he doesnt believe in is pretty much crap, ie religion, cell phones, or correct grammar. whatever. he sits and counts on his fingers everytime anyone says "Like" and laughs. the first time it was funny, because i didn't realise i said it so much, the next 5 times was annoying, and today it was the worst thing ever. i was trying to tell this story, and he was just sitting beside me counting on his fingers and finally i got so mad and i was like "ok i'm not even going to talk anymore!" i was raging. i think he felt bad but i was too pissed off to care. LEAVE ME ALONE ASSHOLE. UGH

so we changed the old guy's mouse to a running horse that changed into a dinosaur when it went over a link. also i made the mouse move realllyyy slow. i was cry laughing it was so funny. he was so scared. he was like "umm, there's a running horse at the top of my screen... what do i do?" then he was like "Boy this mouse is moving sluggish" it was great.

Then we played jeopardy for 1.5 hours, then simpsons jeapordy for .5 hours. and got payed. we were the "digital monsters". One of the categories was "songs from a disney movie" our teacher read out the answer... "Little Wooden Head" and everyone cry laughed for ten minutes because it was friday and also funny. (it was from pinnochio)

me and leck watched the Lord of the Rings trilogy last week. Leck had never seen them before so obviosly that needed fixing. They were so much better the second time through... maybe because we watched them closer together... anyways i got pretty angry at the end when everyone was like ohhh Frodo is such a hero blahblah.... Frodo was a pussy and Sam was the one doing all the work and saving him and looking out for him and not giving up like fucking frodo. also i think gandalf should have been doing more magic... he was a white wizard and all GOSH. and wtf was up with him getting on a boat at the end to leave middle earth? WHERE DID IT GO? he just left all his friends. horrible.

leck got me Emily Haines' new cd and I really like it.

We have an assessment at work each week, if you get below 80% YOU'RE FIRED! so far i havent been fired and today i finished an hour and a half early so i went to Roseas house for a while. that broke up the work day a bit. Jason texted me from work and told me we had to be back by 9:20 now. (10 minutes from then) i was like SHIIiiitttt i'm going to get fired! but i was only a couple minutes late after speeding/sprinting.

Tomorrow when the old guy leaves his computer we're going to turn his mouse pointer into a dinosaur. we get our entertainment from small places.

it's friday tomorrow already which is cool, also means i get my first paycheck in over a month.

too bad i have nothing to write about anymore.... i go to work at 6:30 in the morning. i come home and have a nap. i see leck. then i sleep. repeat.

HEY GUYS. Happy thanksgiving.... what a good holiday. i liked saying, "oh i just watched lord of the rings and got payed for it." or "oh... i just got starbucks, drank it, said hi to peter and got paid for it." etc...

me and leck road our bikes to mattics farm and played mini golf and got ice cream. he won. also i stole the speakers from his van so now my truck will be pimped. unfortunately i'll still look like an old man when i drive it.

saturday night 's alright for fighting

i had a 4 hour nap tonight, now im going back to bed. great saturday night. i could go out... but i don't want to. deffinitely not in the mood. i'm watching Dateline and it's making me even more depressed.

saw jackass two last night. i was on the verge of throwing up throughout the whole thing. so funny though...

also i got a photo album for my europe pictures.

oh! saturday night live is on tonight! i'm never home for it. yess! rick rick rick rick!

edit: ok i went out. i stayed in bed untill 11:30. i couldnt stand being alone with my thoughts though so i went out. techno solves all of my problems.

Hard to Beat

Important events that have occured since my last visit to this blog:

1) Made it through the first week of training without quitting or being fired. or both.

2) Teared in Deal or No Deal.

3) Got violently sick from the consumption of alcohol.

4) Became a member of Jackaholics so i can get free stuff.

5) Rented Disc One of The Office Season 2, while eating 7 Layer dip and candy with leck.

6) Played Jeopardy for 2 hours and got paid for it.

7) Visited the doctor two days in a row for unrelated reasons. antibiotics and a set of x-rays were the result.

8) Picked blackberries with leck for a pie. we picked about 20.

9) Got sex advice from a man over 60, aswell as advice on marriage, speech, cell phones and about 100 other things.

10) Learned an efficient way to break High Score records in Tetris.

11) Burnt a hole in the lawn with lots of caps and matches.

12) Beat Leck in a war of cap guns. my cap skills are just too distinguished...
