Well the plan is to buy a bass. im stoked cause i've wanted to play for a long time, but then i started guitar lessons... and thought it would be pointless to learn two at the same time. well whatever i'm buying one, but I don't know what type. all i know is that its going to be shitty and cheap. so if anyone knows a good cheap bass lemme know!



I took my cat to the vet today. I had to hold her while like 30 dogs walked by. now i have scratches all over my arms and it looks like i was in a bike accident. She was pretty mellow in the office though, and didn't seem to mind when they stuck a thermometer up her ass.

I went grocery shopping which was good, cause i bought 7 layer dip and dried apples!

I was walking down the hall with my guitar and it smashed into the wall knocking a painting off and it made a big hole... oops

Went out for lunch with some friends then went to the park for like 30 seconds.

I'm watching Charlie and the chocolate factory for the first time... and i don't get it, willy wonka's freaking out and i don't know why and there are a lot of midgets dancing and singing with white unibrows.

Heading out to play some tennis, practice for the big game tomorrow haha

Work today was brutal. way too hot to function.

I love watching sick things happen to other people, ex. caterpillar fell in laura's bellybutton and started squirming around and dying. And a bird shit on carly and it was sweet. but then after work i was going to have a shower and there was a dead bug thing on my boob and i almost cried. it was so gross and i didnt know what to do.

Work tomorrow at 7, going to pass out from the heat, plus theres a new lady starting (cause the bitch was fired woo) so that means awkward conversations for a few hours.

Beach partys aren't as fun when the tide is in. it turned into a hike along huge rocks and logs which resulted in wet feet and constant falling.

my nose and face is going crazy with allergies and i cant breath. maybe its cats or something.

somehow a song called "take me out mariana trench". got on my mp3 player. it's sung in japanese/broken english... horrible.

First beach day of the year. wooooo. we swam for like 2 hours, and i probably got burnt... because it is unbeleivably hot, like 34, but now i can get rid of my farmers tan :)

A uni brow family came into work today. i dont think they had ever seen plants before. they were getting way too excited over the plants and such.

I fucking hate caterpillars and it seems as if theyre taking over the world. theyre everywhere. anyways i had to kill one at work today (and even though i hate them it's still sad) and i smushed him with a rock and his ass exploded with green stuff... and he turned his head around and looked at it. it was the saddest thing i'd seen in a long time. so i put him out of his misery.

Last night i watched the movie spun. it is officially the worst movie ever. there are no words to explain so i'll just stop.

Rolled on down to the show at fernwood. it was awsome. Black Tie Social, Pushing Up Daisies, Media Res and Maurice.

G and i went out for some souvlaki/ice cream then watched some michael on dvd which brought me back 6 months to my weird obsession with him.

Today is the day!! Head down to vic with Peter to catch Lindy's soundcheck. get there, turns out they got kicked out. sweet. we phone sally (Lindy's bassist) and tells us to meet her at 9:00, which hapens to be 5 hours away. wooo 5 hours to kill. it was horrible but deffinitely worth the wait.



9:00 finally comes and we meet Sally, who tells the people at the bar we're her Merch people. Sit down, at the front. Lindy's parents were behind us and his mom was videotaping hehe. Lindy comes over to talk to us, but he was overly tired and wasn't making much sense...



one of my teachers came in, it could have got really awkward but he didnt see us. The opening girl was good, and Lindy's brother played a few songs who was really goood.

Finally at 11:00, Lindy and Sally start and they were amazing. Soo soo goood. He's one of my favorite singers evver so it was awsome to see him live again. they rocked. we stayed untill around 12:10 and didn't get to see them finish their set :( Oh ya and Sally dedicated a song to us :) it was cute hahah. I can't wait till they come back!!!






It was amazing and everyone should buy his cd now.

what a day. got to the election hall at 7:00. found out my boss was an asshole. put up signs etc. i was the only one under 65. then stood by the door like a fool for 13 hours pointing in different directions, watching old people get lost. Everyone hated me because people would constantly go to the wrong tables and all the folk working there would glare at me. ok it's not my fault our communities retarded and can't understand simple directions.

I had to wear a shiny orange vest that said "Emergency Operations". About 10000000 people commented on the effing vest... "ohhhhhh where's the emergency!!?" etc etc etc. they thought they were so clever thinking they're the only person who ever thought it was funny to make fun of my unfortunate position and shitty vest. oh well.



My boss guy i think was a pimp. and i hated him and he hated me.

Lindy and his parents came in to vote!! i almost died. im like lindy!? and we had a ten mintue conversation.

this is how it went down :

C: I'm on your street team!! (smooth)
L: oh really!
C: yea we put up posters on sunday it was fun

C: not a problem
then it goes on about touring etc etc
then his phone rings and he goes outside and i start freaking out with my mom then he comes back inside and whispers : see ya later caitlin!

well that was good times. the rest was shit.

life is stressfull and bad and there's too much going on this week and my small brain can't function under this pressure.

tomorrow i'm working at the lame election. i might aswell end my life now so i don't have to suffer through 13 hours of hell tomorrow. the only good part is there is a kitchen there so i can bring tons of food and eat/drink all day. I have to wear a shiny vest thing that will most likely smell like wetdog/rotting baby poo. woooo

I constantly skip math class because when i go i feel like taking my shoe off and throwing it at the teacher. today i went because i missed the last 3 days. turned out to be a big mistake and i fell asleep in the front row. it got awkward. he's a big dykey loser and i hate him.

i bought david usher's new album. its amazing so buy it.

Peter and I went downtown to execute our Street team duties for Lindy. We painted the town blue and now my feet hurt.
