i was pretty bummed that summer was ending and it was going to get cold and rainy etc, but now that it's here i'm beyond happy. that's weird. but i keep thinking about all the sweet things in the fall and winter. lets list a few. Halloween. which is amazing. going to starbucks on a freezing day and sitting inside drinking warm coffee with friends for hours. or if it's raining sit outside because then it's funny. Falling asleep listening to the pouring rain/wind. wearing winter clothes. Sitting by the fire doing nothing and drinking tea. snowboarding season which is easily what i'm most excited for. christmas holidays, board games with friends, butchart gardens at christmas with the girls, new years up the mountain, snow in sidney (if we're lucky), going for midnight snow walks, building igloos, multiple cups of tea in every class, new years up the mountain, and tons more i'm sure i forgot. cool. bring on the cold.
