5 of us crammed into a 3 seater truck and went back to my friend robyn's boyfriends house. they went to get alchy and me and cael and jodz stayed back and played xbox. well just i did and i sucked.


drank some sickass wisers then beer and was feelin pretty good. me and caleigh were glad we didn't drink tons cause later everyone decided to go to Splashdown waterslides. It was 2 in the morning so it was freakin scary. i guess someone worked there so he let everyone in and turned on the slides/hottub. me and caleigh didn't know anyone so we sorta just chilled and went down the black hole and i almost cried because it was so scary. i felt like we were dying cause we just hung on to these tubes/eachother and just drop down into this blackness and u can't see where the hell you're going because its so late and dark and yea it was too scary. i wish we could do shit like that over here...


i dont get how tons of kids can go to the waterslides in the middle of the night, super loud, no cops come, and in the morning there's emptys and tubes everywhere.... arent the waterslide people like umm maybe we should do something about this its probably dangerous? some guy fell and hit his face and his front teeth chipped in half and some other chick rolled down a bunch of stairs.


get back to Matts at 3ish then go to bad at 3:30... get up at 6 to cath the 7 am ferry. uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhgggggggg. so tired and the ferry ride was the worst because i was still so wet and i was just wearing pjs and a tank top because i left my sweater there and my underwear and bra were wet..... so i sat there/lay on the ground shivering uncontrollably for an hour and a half. worst thing ever. we got a lot of weird looks. a lot


went straight to bed then leck joined me there then we made grilled cheeese and drank milk. then went to starbucks. now im bored and trying to think of what to do because he went to a kegger. im thinking about having a nap since i havent really slept too much... sorry about boring post and stuff i just feel like dead

im really tired and want to have a nap but i have to catch the 6 ferry to vancouver. maybe i could sleep on the ferry... hmmm

anyways, im going over to see a friend and have a bbq and some drinks and all that fun stuff. hopefully i can get a ride back to the ferries in the morning or i will be stuck over there for foreverrrr!!! nooooooooooo

first of all.... there's so many sweet acts and the judges get to pick one and then US votes for another one to move on to the finals... i watched it yesterday/maybe the day before and the judges picked this grandma who rapped..... UM WHAT? sorry that is not a talent... people who juggle balls on fire or dance on stilts or do a billion flips then dunk a basketball... that's talent you homos. GOD!!!!!!

I scored some new sunglasses which is sweet and good timing because mine just broke. Meghan found them in her car and didn't know who's they were so she gave them to me. YESS!!! but then she said they didn't suit me... but they were FREEEEEEEEEEEE

also i got cheap apple crumble at white spot because of my spot connections. alssssoooo went to a kegger for a bit, maybe i should say, was dragged to one, at like 7 last night. god what an awkward time. i peaced asap and got some dessert.

PS>>> me and lecks Eurail passes came in the mail today. EXCITING. plus maps and booklet things and other fun stuff. changed the flights aswell to fly out on the 11th instead of the 4th. kind of a bummer because the flight itself was 120$ cheaper than our first and we had to pay an extra 100$ to change it... hummmmmmmhmhm... ..

speaking of mail.. something for leck came in the mail to.

One of the reasons I love leck is because of his random ideas, such as leaving for Tofino at 9:30 at night. Obviosly i wasn't going to say no so we quickly jumped in the lake then started the 4.5 hour drive up island. There's something really relaxing about driving at night. (well i was just sitting there, Leck did all the work.) Stopped at Tim Hortons to get some sandwiches and coffee, and ended up scoring an extra one because the server girl was a moron. The coffee made us sick for some reason but it was good


As we got into Tofino we picked up a hitchiker coming home from the beach (2:30am). He lay in the back of the van and told us we could park in his driveway for the night.

"this would be a perfect rape van! there's no door handles on the inside!"
"...yea, it's not bad."

woke up, drove into the town, got some breakfast then went to Long Beach where we set up our folding chairs, towels and frisbee.


Leck played frisbee by himself because the wind just took it right back to him, so i wasn't needed.



Bought lots of food at the store, went back to the beach, first person to stop running into the water was a fag, and that was leck (obviosly...) the wind was too strong and we were tired of sand blowing in our eyes so we started the long drive home.



Stopped at Sproat Lake to jump in because it was so hot, but the water was warm so it wasn't that refreshing. really nice though.

My mom bought a new car. a Hyundai Tuscan. we're the family that never gets a new car so i am stoked. mostly stoked because i can actually drive standard now, instead of on the rabbit where it was pretty much impossible. when i was younger i always wanted a car with the "new car smell" it was my favorite smell and whenever my dad got a rental car for work i would sit in it forever just playing with buttons and smelling the clean leather smell. I wanted to buy the "new car smell" spray to spray in my room but i guess that was going a little far...

My mom and i went to costco after work today and bought food in bulk and also a new digi cam for myself becuase my old new one broke. well i threw it in a drunken stupor. my dad and brother met us there so we had some family bonding and ate costco pizza and hot dogs. my brother bought a motorcycle today and he's 16. my mom is having a heart attack about it and i think i would too.


last night i had a games night at my house. cool i know. anyways we were playing scatergories and the letter was N. the subject was, "words associated with money" and i wrote "None". pretty appropriate i think. especially right now. it seems the only thing in my life that ever really stresses me out or causes problems has something to do with money, or lack of. Me and Leck are still trying to get money for Europe but it's hard, not gettin enough hours at work and so many obstacles that seem to be getting in the way. we'll see what happens.

i reallly want to nap but i smell like smoke and want to shower first. too bad my brother decided to keep the bathroom hostage for a while. Also a beer got punctured in my backpack so it sprayed everywhere and now everything smells like beer.


so yea... Leck and I went camping at Mystic beach this weekend. we left on saturday, a lot later than we should have (my fault) and drove up past Sooke. We packed up our backpacks we got for Europe with so much stuff it was pretty insane. too much stuff.. The hike there was about 45 minutes, including a break to pick up a flat of beer that broke and rolled everywhere.


When we got there the sun had already started setting so we set up our tent then tried to look for firewood but there was pretty much none. the fire was a no-go so we had to throw out our chicken dinners :( oh well.


when we woke up, we saw that the couple with the prime spot was leaving so as soon as they left we ran our shit over there and stole the sweetest spot. Too bad a beached seal/sea lion thing was rotting on our beach and rolling around in the waves.



We brought excessive amounts of food so a lot of sunday was spent making and eating food.


oh btw the Feist show was awsome and she is amazing.

work was shitty because i couldn't make sounds, so customers thought i was really rude and stuff.

This guy came in who sounded exactly like Borat and it was so funny and i was getting excited... then he came over and started telling me this story about a Jew and i'm like it IS Borat!! it was awsome.

I rented Sleepless in Seattle. I've never seen it that's the only reason! Gosh. The girl i work with made fun of me and when i picked her up from work i showed her the movie and she's like um, ok just look at the cover... she has a mullet and shoulder pads, i think that says enough. whatever i'm excited.

im getting sick, and also getting Leck sick so its not good. my throat is killing and my cough isnt helping too much. it will just have to piss off. after work on friday i watched Dear Frankie in sweatpants and it was really good and sad and cute. then I went to say bye to Kayla at the ferry and everyone was crying even though she's just moving to vancouver and we'll probably see her in a couple of weeks. it was still sad just because it's the start of all my friends leaving to places further away.


Leck picked me up after work and we got some pizza then went to sleep, but slept in and wasted some of our day. we made a picnic, bought some gin then caught a bus to Butchart Gardens to see the Fireworks. It was sweet, got there at 5 and they started at 10, so we set up our blanket, then rolled over to the music stand to listen to some tunes. People watching is the best. we were watching samurai children.


Chilled in the Japanese gardens for a bit then listened to some more music then drank some more, then went back to our blanket, then mixed some more drink in front of angry grandmas. The fireworks were sooo crazy and i'm already stoked for next year haha



got a cab, slept, woke up, got some subway/coffee and rented MARIO KART DOUBLE DASH!! for GAME CUBE YEA! we borrowed a game cube and ripped it up for a few hours. i love how we're so nerdy, but it's ok because we're equally nerdy. so its all good. Leck was the one that won us new levels and stuff because i got too worked up to do any good. plus i injured my thumb. god.


also everyone is changing their blog templates. and by everyone, i mean Peter and Leck... maybe i should do something along those same lines...

anyways, time to get some sleep.

oh yea maria backed over a parking median thing and her gas tank leaked everywhere and had to buy a new one for 400. it was funny. /also shitty

i dont know what to think about my canada day. it had ups and downs. i don't think it matched last year, because that one was just perfect... but it was pretty sweet this year. Had some girls over for some drinks, then rolled down town on the bus. I wont really go into detail on anything because im tired and eating a sandwitch...


on top of what i drank at home, i drank a lot in a very short period of time down town and it screwed me up... i accidentally threw my camera and its totally pooched. the lens wont close and when it turns on it just beeps and the screen is crazy blue and scratchy. im so dumb. The part that sucks the most is that it was a grad present from the parents and i just feel really really bad. My dad's going to try and return it today and say it just got jammed or something.. but who knows. so no pictures from Canada day. maybe if i get another camera i can load the memory card. oh yea. also i forgot my sweater so i was wearing a tank top untill 4:30 in the morning. pretty much having violent shiver attacks most of night.

The day after me and Leck slept for most of the day... well we went to sidney days for a little bit, played some bingo with the old people. we didn't win. then watched the boat race, with boats people had made in 3 hours with only 75$ worth of equipment and no power tools. it was cute. Had a nap on my lawn for like 2 hours and missed dinner, then another nap after that.

Monday was amazing. Woke up, got some pizza, went to the superstore to look for an airmatress, they were sold out, dicks. so we went to Canadian Tire where we got one for really cheap and its huge and awsome. finally made it to the lake, which was insane busy, but we just floated around on our matress drinking and being jealous of the people who had inflatable coolers. MEGA CHILL. Then went to see Nacho Libres. i loved the little niños. i wanted one. i wanted one to live on our deck, and we could feed it nachos. aw.

Walked around downtown, in the Inner Harbour, watched a juggler guy and some of folk fest. got some tea/americano then rolled back to my place where we tried to plan what we needed for Europe.

This morning sucked for me a lot. I was soo tired and i couldn't believe I had to get up and go to work. it was a horrible feeling. so i was already in a shitty mood then my mom made me feel so bad about the camera and i went to work almost crying but I survived and 8 hours later i came home, made leck a sandwich, then myself one and now i'm here.

tonigts plan? coffee and nap.

oh yea and the earthquake today made me panic and stay in open spaces for the rest of the day.


edit: my dad just called and they took my camera back. wont get another for a week or two though. :D
